Gotham Font is a member of the sans serif family. This font was designed by typeface designers Tobias Frere Jones and Jesse Ragan. They release this font in 2000. This font originated with GQ Magazine. In fact, the editors of this magazine wanted to create a sans serif that would be useful for their magazine and whose structure would be geometric.
Gotham is a very large family. There are four widths and eight weights. This font was released by a company of Jonathan Hoefler “Hoefler & Co”. Jonathan Hoefler was the business partner of Frere-Jones. Many famous companies such as Taco Bell, Golf Galaxy, and Discovery Inc. are still using this font in their logos.
